Hi, While you could use our 38168 to extract up to 7.1 DD+ audio through ARC to be converter into optical, I'm afraid connecting a second unit is not something we have tested. In theory it may work however it's not something we would normally recommend, these units rely on reading the TVs EDID to kn...

Hi nmarchini, It's very unusual for these headphones to cut out, especially at such a short distance. We have tested these in the way you have described today without issue, and even if we send the audio from a phone to the headphones through a wall it still works fine. It may just be that there is ...

Hi Tristan, In that case it may be a fault has developed then, I'm afraid you would need to return the item to the place of purchase, which in this case would be Amazon. Hi Posnet, Without being able to test with that particular scanner it's difficult to say why this is not working correctly in your set-ups. Hi,

Yes that is correct. If you are wanting the same picture to go to 2 displays that are of different resolutions (for example 4K and 1080p) then you would need some form of downscaler for the lower resolution TV, otherwise the resolution would be lowered for both screens.

Hi Andy, Unfortunately while a splitter would give you the same picture to 2 TVs, it would not resolve your problem. A splitter would look at what TVs were connected and then choose the most appropriate resolution for both. For example if you set it to 4K then only your 4K TV would get a picture as ...

Hi Andy, The 38051 does support 4K however up to the HDMI 1.4 specification which means it is limited to 4K 30Hz with HDCP 1.4. New "UHD" TVs work at 4K 60Hz, with the newer HDMI 2.0 standard which can also include HDR (High Dynamic Range colour). HDMI 2.0 also includes the new copyright protection ...

Hi Andy, The reason you are not able to get 4K through the matrix with your devices is because the matrix is rated as HDMI 1.4 with up to 10.2Gbps of bandwidth. The new 4K devices require HDMI 2.0 support with the copyright version HDCP 2.2 up to 18Gbps of bandwidth. I'm afraid if you wanted to keep...

Hi Browser,

If you only have the bluray connected does the audio work fine? It may be that the unit is switching back to your TVs optical output if the TV has an "always on" optical port.

Do you have another device you'd be able to try the headphones on, just to check it's not a problem between those and the Kindle?

May also be worth just rebooting the Kindle and trying to re-pair.

It may be worth checking your graphics drivers are up to date, however there are no drivers for the KVM itself.

I'm afraid if issues are happening with more than one PC, such as your Ubuntu PC and Windows PC, then it would point towards a fault developing on the KVM unfortunately.

Hi Michael,

I'm afraid the email address and hostname fields do have a 15 character limitation on them, and unfortunately we do not have any newer firmware that would increase this.

Currently the only solution would be to use a shorter email address if possible.
