It could possibly be an EDID issue. A possible solution would be to use an emulator such as https://www.lindy.co.uk/audio-video-c2/matrix-switches-splitters-c166/hdmi-2-0-edid-emulator-adapter-p9715 You could then clone the EDID from the projector and the use the dongle on the output of the switch. ...

Hi, Could you change the sequence and follow the manuals instructions. That is, switch the KVM on 1st, select port 1 and the boot the computer. It just allows the devices to handshake properly. You could also try cycling through the port as this can again force the devices to re-handshake.

Hi,
This is not something I have heard of I'm afraid. It's certainly not something we stock currently. There does seem to be some mention of them on Mac forums but I'm afraid these are pretty old.

Hi,
There seems no obvious reason for this problem. I would suggest returning the unit for testing.
If purchased directly from Lindy you can begin the process here

Hi,
Just a few questions
.
Are you using HDMI from your PC to VGA on your projector? Could you let me know the length of your VGA cable and the Resolution you are using. Is the adapter powered, what is the part number of the adapter.

There are 2 types of software with the Server. One is specifically for Printers and the other for connecting storage. This is the way the product has been designed. I'm afraid there are far to many USB products to ensure compatibility or convert the data they send so that it can be transmitted over IP

It should tell you the firmware in System Information / version. I need to know which one you have to see if it can be updated. I have asked the manufacturer for any available updates. I am also going to try setting up the mail notification .
