The headphones do have a power saving feature so if your source is outputting a very low volume, it may not be enough for the power saving circuit to detect, causing the headphones to turn off. I'm afraid the only solution I could offer would be to turn the volume up slightly.

Hi DHaych80,

If you take the capture card out of the set-up, so just go from the PS3 into the 38096 converter and then into your TV, does that work?

If not then it could be that power supply has failed unfortunately, in which case we could get that back to be replaced.

It's possible that your HD Slingbox is giving out an EDID before the 4K Amplifier, which would limit the resolution. If you remove this from the set-up, and put the 4K Sat Box on Port 1 do you then get a 4K output?

Dear bwj,

Is the EDID dipswitch on the splitter set to STD or TV? If it's set the STD, please could you change this to TV and test your set-up again?

Hi VinylRichTea,

If it works with one monitor but not another then it just sounds as though the chipset in your monitor is not compatible with the chipset in the DP Splitter unfortunately.

While the VGA Splitter will supply power on the output ports, it may be less than a normal PC graphics card output.

If you are using extenders with the splitter I would only recommend active, powered extenders.

It could be the VLAN causing the issues, I'm afraid we cannot advise / recommend using these products on VLANs so cannot support it in that environment. It can cause a variety of problems.

Hi James, The 8 port classic IPower switch doesn't have the functionality to remember its last state so when it loses power, it may still have some residual power to keep certain ports enabled, this may be why you are experiencing this problem. We do have a high specification switch which will remem...

Hi Tetrisdroid,

Sorry to hear you're having an issue with our headphones. Does this issue only occur at low volume levels or does it also happen when the volume is turned up?

Does it happen if you put a new battery into the headphones?

Hi Martin,

I'm sorry to hear that, from what you've described it does sound as though there may just be an incompatibility between the KM software and the 64-bit version of Windows XP unfortunately.

I'm afraid I could only suggest that you return the goods to the place of purchase.

Hello JP, As far as I am aware, there is no way of changing the virtual positions of the monitors in the KVM software, generally you would just have move the monitors to opposite sides. What you could try is, on your PC if you go into Screen Resolution change which monitor is set to "This is my Main...

Hi Dcasher, When you press the PiP button on the remote control it will switch both outputs A and B to the same input channel, and show you the remaining 5 inputs in sub-pictures on the screen. You can then choose which input you would like to view and once you select a sub-picture, both output chan...
