I've recently bought a Lindy USB 3.0 Enclosure (No. 43138). It is now connected to a Win7 x64 PC and I am using Nero 11.
I have used an Asus CD-RW drive, but it wouldn't burn the discs. Nero would report a succesful burn, just a few seconds after burn was started.
I have changed the drive to a Lite ON, which seems to be better, but occasionally it does the same. Doesn't burn the discs, even though Nero is reporting burn succesful.

I also use an internal drive and an external tower which has 5 drives (various) and I have no issues with those.

Any advice?

This product is simply a converter between SATA Optical drives and USB so shouldn't affect the read/write. Providing you are using a relatively short USB cable (under 3m) then I would perhaps look at whether the issue is software related.
