Hi,
Im using the 3 Port FireWire 800 Repeater Hub to connect my external sound card (firewire only) and my Western digital MyBook hard drive to an IMAC with only one firewire socket. Every time the hard drive performs some action the sound coming from the sound card is interrupted. This is really bud for music recording and i wonder if there is a way to guarantee that the sound card doesn't deactivate when the harddrive is working.
Thanks a lot for your help!!!!
Leo

I'm afraid we don't know of any way to stop this happening.
Obviously the data is limited to 1 uplink stream of Firewire 800 and external hard drives can use a lot of data. Any hub would have the same problem.
