Hi there,

I received my Lindy USB Guitar Cable in the post this morning to my excitement! However, upon plugging in my electric guitar and following instructions on how to set it up in Garageband, I receive a large amount of feedback when the guitar isn't even being used.

If I take the guitar jack out of the guitar, the feedback sound remains.

What am I doing wrong here? A bit frustrating!

HI, It certainly shouldn't be doing this. Are you using speakers or headphones to monitor your input? Some poorly shielded speakers may increase the feedback but this sounds like a possible fault. I would suggest returning the item for a replacement.
