Hi
Since installing a USB 3.0 PCIe card I get an error 41 when I wake the PC with the mouse. (Logitech wireless using front USB 2.0)
The card is not connected to power
Any suggestions please?
Thanks
Maureeen

Hi,
If you remove the card, does this resolve the issue?

Hi,
No I haven't tried removing the card as it's never happened before I installed it and for it to be the same day as installing the card is I'm sure not a coincidence.
I will if I find nothing else.
Maybe disable it to try first ?
I found it's the same when I wake the pc with the keyboard, it comes up with blue screen and all the error messages and restarts
I will try with a corded mouse and keyboard later and see if it's the same
Thanks
Maureen

I tried the corded mouse and there is the same problem, I then disabled the card and it doesn't happen

Hi Maureen,
It sounds as though the USB Card is incompatible with your PC, I'm afraid I would have to suggest returning the item to us.
You can fill out the returns form here: http://www.lindy.co.uk/return-product-i374

Hi John
Thanks for your reply, do you have one you think will be compatible? This PC is only a year old.
I remember buying a firewire card from you a few years ago that worked when others didn't
I will contact PC Specialist and ask their advice, this is my third PC from then since 2005 and I very rarely have a problem
If no luck I will return the card.
Thanks again

Hi Maureen,
Do you have the part number of the card you have? I can have a look to see if we have a card with a different chipset in that may work.

Hi
It's the 51118. I didn't find any updated drivers for it.
Thanks

Hi Maureen,
I would suggest that you return the card to us as an incompatibility, as an alternative, this is a good quality card with a different chipset: http://www.lindy.co.uk/usb-firewire-c4/ ... pcie-p7314

Thank you John
UPDATE
I found a newer driver for the card on the Etron site which I'm pleased to say appears to have solved the problem.
I did fill in a returns form, can you cancel this for me please
Thanks for your help
