I'm using a 43188 USB 3.1 to Gigabit Ethernet adapter attached to an Intel NUC6i5SYK running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.
Sometimes, after a reboot, the computer sees the MAC address on the 43188 as all zeros. Unplugging the adapter from the PC and re-inserting it resolves the issue but I'm planning to roll these out on a product which will not have easy physical access.
Is this a known issue? Does anyone have any advice please?

Hi Chris,

I've checked some of the adapters today and cannot seem to replicate your issue, after multiple reboots it always has an MAC address listed (when you look under command prompt - ipconfig /all).

Could you send us a screenshot of it without a MAC address please? The address is built into the adapters hardware so it can't "lose" the address, it's possible the PC is not reading it until the device is in use perhaps.
