Hello,
I recently bought one of these cards for use with a legacy application on my computer. The card seemed to install fine, however it will not work with this program at the moment as it has not assigned itself the base address of 0x378. Instead, it's latched onto 0xEC00 instead. The "Use automatic settings" box is greyed out, so I cannot seem to change it. Is there any way of modifying the base address so that it matches the standard base address for an LPT1 port?
Thanks,
Dave.

Hello,
What version of windows are you using as modern versions do not allow manual addresses to be set as it is all plug and play.

I'm afraid since it cannot be setup in the BIOS then as soon as windows starts to load it will allocate an address which cannot be changed.
