Hi
I'm looking into KVM extenders over cat5.
I need to connect 1 computer to KVM over cat5 approx 25m away.
Keyboard and mouse are both ps2 connectors.
Will I get 1080p resolution at this distance?
Is the 39398 the best solution?
If so should the 3in1 cable be used at both ends?
Regards

Dear Sir,

The 3in1 Cable is to connect the computer to the Transmitter and Receiver. Both units can connect to a PC, one at the local and one at the remote end.

Each unit will need the power supply included connected. You can use a PS/2 keyboard and mouse with this extender.

For the extended Cat5 cable length of 25m 1920 x 1080 should work fine from the VGA connection.

Both units are marked with console and computer, local and remote keyboard, mouse and monitor for the console and local and remote computers so that you can switch from the remote end to choose whichever machine you want to access.

I hope this helps.

Best Regards
