Hi

When I try to download the win 7 64 bit drivers for the 42850 from the Lindy website i get an error.

ht tp : / / w w w.lindy .co .uk/ downloads/ 42850_1.zip

The file is not valid.

Where can I get the correct files?

Thanks!!

I've attached it to the post.

These can also be downloaded automatically by windows if connected to the internet.

Can you tell me which operating system and browser you are using?

Hi Chris

Thanks for your reply. However I didn't see the file in the post. However I did manage to get it from the US Lindy site

I'm using windows 7 64 bit OS and IE8

I opened the zip file and extracted to my documents. But there didn't seem to be a setup file.

I then connected the 42850 to my PC. It downloaded the drivers automatically but when I tried to communicate with a device it was detected.

When I look at the driver details it tells me the following drivers are installed

C:\windows\system32\drivers\irenum.sys
C:\windows\system32\DRIVERS\irstusb.sys

Are these correct?

Thanks

Hi,

Yes that is correct. Sorry about the attachment.

It was detected or wasn't?

Hi Chris

Sorry i wasn't clear in my post

It is not detecting my device. I recenbtly upgrade from win XP and the same 42850 worked fine on that.

If you have no yellow explanation marks in device manager then the device is installed correctly.

Which device are you using it with? Do you just use the windows utility to transfer files?

I use it with a portable analyser that is used to measure moisture and flow

It is for transferring files(logs)

I'll do some more work on my side to see if there is anything in the setup and get back to you
