hi, I wonder if you can help with my problem as follows.
our production director wanted a projector in his office, to show either content from his laptop through a desk dock,or a guest laptop, and to facilitate this I have used a 41214 vga splitter from his dock to his desktop monitor and to a 32585 vga switch, where the choice of laptop or guest laptop is made, and this is then taken to the projector with a 36399 20m vga. with this set up both the desktop monitor and what is displayed from the projector both have a constant flicker on them. can anyone point me in the right direction on what I've done wrong and how to sort it out. thanks.

Hi Colin,

This sounds like it could be a power issue. Normally with laptops they have very low powered on the output ports. I would recommend trying an Active Splitter rather than the passive one you have. This would be something like our part 32569.

If you purchased the 41214 within 30 days and direction from Lindy you are able to return this for a refund. Please see our returns form here: https://www.lindy.co.uk/returns-i36
