Hello, I bought USB 2.0 Audio Adapter Pro (part no. 42775 ) from local reseller today. And after installing the software from the cd and starting the software, my laptop freezes. I downloaded software from Lindy website, but same thing happened again. I started task manager and usb sound card software again. Task manager shows that after I start soundcard software, it uses all my memory (6 GB). And after that only option for me is hard reset for my pc. My laptop uses Windows 7 Ultimate. So does somebody have a solution for that problem?

Hi,
There may be a problem with the driver. I have contacted our supplier to see if any updates are available.

Could you try the following driver? http://www.lindy.co.uk/lindyshop/drivers/42961_4.zip

This is for a slightly different part, but it uses the same chipset.

If this doesn't work I'd recommend to remove all drivers installed, then reinsert the device, it should use the built in drivers from windows. However certain features may not be available.

I will chaise our factory now.

As far as I'm aware it was the older drivers causing these issues and the one above didn't do this.

Did you try the new driver?
