Hi,

I've just bought this unit to fix an HDMI handshake problem between a Mac Mini and my AV Amp.

It does this perfectly.

However it is only outputting 2 channel stereo and not multichannel as it should.
I bought this unit specifically as I want to play multichannel audio from Mac Mini via AV Amp.

I've tried all the switch settings on the unit but can't seem to get it to work.
Multi channel sound works fine when I disconnect the Lindy from the chain - of course I then have the handshake problem again.

Please help

Hi,

Just to check, are you hitting the reset button after changing the EDID switch?

Thanks for your reply Chris.

Turns out I hadn't emulated my AV receivers settings. I did this and it works perfectly now.

Cheers
