Hi,

I just purchased this converter, and wondering should the LED stay on once plugged in, and should it power up without cables attached besides?

I noticed that when I unboxed it and plugged it in, the LED light didn't come on.

I'm using it for my son's PS3, he has a game capture card and the converter is going to be used from the out of the capture card to HDMI in, on his monitor. But it doesn't seem to be working.

Just want to rule out a faulty box.

Thanks,
Dave.

Hi DHaych80,

If you take the capture card out of the set-up, so just go from the PS3 into the 38096 converter and then into your TV, does that work?

If not then it could be that power supply has failed unfortunately, in which case we could get that back to be replaced.

Thanks for the reply, no that doesn't work, and the LED doesn't come on so it must be the power supply? What are my next steps in getting this returned and replaced?

If you bought it directly through Lindy, the easiest way for us to get that back is if you can fill our online returns form out here:

http://www.lindy.co.uk/return-product-i374

If you purchased it through a re-seller such as Amazon, I'm afraid you would have to return it to them.

Will do, I purchased it directly from Lindy.ie.

For part number and invoice number, will I just use the converter box details?

The part number should be on the bottom of the unit, or the packaging.

The invoice number, order number, or WEB order reference will be on the dispatch note that came with the unit.
