15m hdmi 1080p

I'm aftet 15 meter HDMI cable capable of displaying 1080p (1920 x 1080 @ 50 fps). I can see just two 15m hdmi cables:
1. 41147 - it supports 1080i (1920 @ 1080 @ 25 fps) wich is not good enough for me
2. 37407 premium cable that “supports HDTV resolutions up to 1080i and DVI-D resolutions up to 1920 x 1200”. Well if it supports up to 1920 x 1200 it should also support 1920 x 1080 (at what frame rate?) thus 1080p but the spec is up to 1080i – could anyone clarify this?
I would like to be sure that this is what I need before I spend over £100.

Also will connecting a repeater 32568 allow to display 1080p using 41147 cables? Has anyone got any experience in 15m hdmi @ 1080p?

41147 will support 1080p, but it is not certified. Same for 37407

Both of these are 'untested' but will work depending on the setup.

37426 has been tested with 1080p with full colour and all the extras over 15m. But again it is not certified.

Thank you for your reply Chris,

I need to connect 5 LCDs (each @ 15m, 1080p). I already have 3 41147s - didn't want to buy 5 straight away if anything goes wrong. And unfortunately 41147 won't transfer 1080p properly - LCD keeps loosing the picture (1 second on, several seconds off, etc). When I change to 1080i (1920 x 1080 @ 25 fps) it works fine but this framerate is way too low, makes my eyes hurt. I have tested different LCDs, graphics cards, drivers and shorter HDMI cables and the problem is only when using 41147 cable and 1080p.

Do you think it is worth trying the repeater? How do I know if the problem would be solved with the £100 cable?

Kind regards,

Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately, for long distance HDMI cable runs (over 10m), there are no cast iron guarantees that it will work because it does depend very much on the equipment you are connecting.

We'd recommend you try the 15m Premium Gold HDMI cable (37407). Although this cable has been ATC certified for High Speed compliance (incl. 1080p support) up to 8m, we've actualy tested it without any problems here at 1080p @ 15m. Also, many of our customers are using these lengths and resolutions without any problems. In fact, I've just checked and we've never had a 10m or 15m Premium Gold HDMI cable returned because it didn't support 1080p!

Hi MikeO,

Thanks for your reply. I've already managed to get these premium gold cables - no problems @ 1080p50.

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck using the 20m 37427 with 3D at 1080p?

We don't currently have any 3D testing equipment, so I'm afraid we can't test it for you.

1080p with deep colour and the works, yes :)

Every piece of equipment works slightly different, so its quite hard to tell sometimes.
