Hello folks,
I purchased a mini bluetooth adapter (came yesterday 29th June) so that I can listen to the instructions from my Tom Tom Go720 whilst wearing my crash helmet, yes I'm a biker.
The MA won't pair with the TomTom, blue and red is flashing. Bluetooth enabled on my satnav which asks whether I want to connect with the headset I tap yes and the message on the screen shows that it hasn't found it, it knows its there but won't connect to it.
I have tried to pair it with my Nokia 6310i and it still won't pair.
I can pair my Nokia to my satnav, no problems so I know the TomTom is ok, it looks like the problem may be with the adapter
Any advice would help please

Its a generic part but it should have a part number on the barcode label.

It could be an issue with the bluetooth profiles. Do you which one the Tomtom is trying to use?
I've had a quick look and it looks like SPP, I'm going to double check if 20428 supports this.

The Tomtom Go 720 asks if I want to connect to the stereo headset then when I tap yes it say it can't find it.
Tomtom doesn't give any other details and no other Bluetooths are switched on at the time so it can't be confused with any other item.

A2DP should be fine as that's what the bluetooth adapter uses.
Have you placed it in the pairing mode?

Does it get as far as asking for a Pin?

If it doesn't work with the Nokia as well as the TomTom then I would probably suggest returning it to us for inspection. As the unit is very simple to operate and connect, you should not be having these problems.

Yes I agree and will return it over the next few days, I was wondering if I had missed something in the instructions.
Many thanks for your help Chris
