Hello there, I recently purchased an USB to Serial converter http://www.lindy-usa.com/usb-to-serial- ... 42855.html
So what I'm tryin' to do is connect a QRSdiagnostic ecg, which has a RS232 output, with my laptop, through an USB port. All seems to be good, but the ecg signal is arriving too slowly, so after being in touch with QRSdiagnostic tech support I've found out that I need to change an advanced setting in the COM port created by this cable, in particular I need to set the latency timer to 2 ms, but when I go into the advanced settings of the COM port there isn't any option to let me do this operation.
Is there anyone able to tip me?
USB to Serial Converter (42855) latency timer

Hi,
I'm afraid unlike the FTDI chipset's there is no facility to change the latency timer on the 42855, which uses a Prolific chipset.

If you require control over the Latency then you would have to consider using an adapter with the FTDI chipset such as http://www.lindy.co.uk/usb-firewire-c4/ ... rs232-p484
