Hi,
The software should be included with the product, this has a single use licence.
I'm afraid we do not recommend any other software.

Hi,
I'm afraid we do not offer a repair service for these headphones, it sounds as though perhaps a wire is not connected properly or the volume control has been disturbed.
Sorry we cannot be of more help on this occasion.

Hi,
I've had a look at your code and I think it is because you have not selected a port.
P=A I believe should be P=A1 to select Port 1.

Hi JonO, These generally are just plug and play, and once set up work without issue. However there are always some situation where electronics don't work correctly and we just have to put that down as a compatibility issue. I'm afraid you would need to return the goods to the place of purchase, sorr...

Hi JonO,
Not really sure why it is not working in your set-up then, however it may just be some form of incompatibility.
It may be worth returning the extractor to the place of purchase, was it bought direct from Lindy?

Hi JonO,
Is it doing the same on both the 5.1 and 7.1 audio settings if you change the EDID on the new extractor?
If you remove the switch from the set-up and just go from the Xbox direct to the extractor, does that work?

Hi,
Depending on the model of headphones the part number may be printed on the inside of the headband, it'll be a 5 digit code.
Unfortunately however we do not stock different types of ear pads, only the original ones that are supplied (model dependant).

Hi Harnett,
It may just be movement with the internal microphones which do the noise cancelling, if that has happened to you then it would be best returning them to the place of purchase for replacement.

Hi JonO,
Sorry my mistake it's our new version that has EDID options.
These are just pass-through, so may just be limited in that set-up. Did you buy the goods directly from Lindy?

Hi JonO,
Does changing the EDID setting on the extractor change anything? In the user manual there should be a number of EDID settings so you could try passthrough or the preset 5.1 settings.

Hi JonO,
That's a bit unusual, perhaps the Xbox is outputting 5.1 in a format not supported by the switch.
Are there any options in the Xbox settings to change the audio output format?

Hi,
While it may work, we don't normally recommend putting wireless devices on active extension cables. It normally increased the latency too much.

Hi,
If you are getting a black and white image that is normally down to the settings in the capture software you are using.
It is usually the PAL / NTSC setting that causes this.

Hi,
I assume you are looking at Part No. 38068, if so then yes you can connect that to a TV's HDMI ARC port and extract audio to optical to feed a soundbar.

It is possible the same shells are used by different manufacturers however the quality of the headphones is down to the components used inside.
We ensure all of our products are built to a high standard.

Hi,
This isn't something we have really seen before, however it sounds as though perhaps a relay has failed inside the unit.
Please could you email technical@lindy.co.uk with your details or fill in a returns form here:
