If you manually install the drivers using the 'have disk' option and pointing it to the .inf file, does this work?

Mcstonnie, sure

If you have tried another USB lead and another port and it still disconnects after a period of time I'd suggest to get the unit back to us. http://www.lindy.co.uk/shop/returnsMerchandise.do

Hyper, Have you tried the eSATA link?

Hi Dave,

That is very very odd, I'll pass this on to the people responsible for the firmware. Thanks for the feedback, its nice to get this from our customers.

Cheers

Hi Dave,

Is this using a stable version of firefox or a beta? I've had a few problems with Chrome dev builds in the past with various setups.

Hi Davea,

This normally happens when a client (Firefox) is sending a URL that is too long for the web server on the IP unit.

This seems strange if it works in IE however, since technically it should be sending the same URLs. Is this as soon as you try to login?

The only .sys file in the archive is mosuport.sys , I've never tried this myself but that's the one I would choose.

You could copy this to the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ location along with all the files from the win64 folder.

I'm afraid this is out of our control as it is down to the chipset manufacturer to have these certified by Microsoft. This is by no means mandatory and it is common not to have them signed. Most chipsets from the far east will not have this. However on 64bit systems Microsoft have locked it down for...

Hello,

It sounds like you need to disable driver signing when windows first starts as win64 doesn't like non-signed drivers.

If you tap F8 (I think) when booting, you should get the option to temp disable this.

It would plug direct in the new drive, however you would need an IDE cable as well, if you do not have a spare then we sell them here

This also uses a floppy disk style power connection, please check your case power supply has one spare. If not we do also sell power adapters for this.

Hello,

Two options,

The first correct way would be to use an add-in card. Typically these are PCI, http://www.lindy.co.uk/2-port-sata-1-x- ... 51115.html

Alternatively you can use a IDE converter, http://www.lindy.co.uk/ide-converter-fo ... 51025.html

We have tested this again on our win64 machine and it seems to work fine.

I am trying to test this with windows enterprise, however it shouldn't make any difference.

Can you manually point the Compound device towards the win64 folder?

As this is where the manual drivers are stored.

I'm afraid since it cannot be setup in the BIOS then as soon as windows starts to load it will allocate an address which cannot be changed.

Hello,

What version of windows are you using as modern versions do not allow manual addresses to be set as it is all plug and play.

Yeah a separate cable would be needed.

It really depends on what connection the Laptop and TV have. A common cable would be 3.5mm to 3.5mm

Hi,

No, DVI will not pass any sound over to HDMI.

Commonly the TV will have an analog input for sound using HDMI, you would need to check the manual.

Hello,

We have tested this on our Windows 7 64bit machine and it doesn't have a problem with the latest driver. We can open the software fine.

Does the product work ok without the software? As you don't need to install this?
