Unfortunately it does not support Sata 3. At the moment we do not have a USB enclosure that does.

Hello,

All are a single CAT5/6 link.

All products work and are reliable, if you need a power hungry device then I'd go for 42805. Otherwise 42801.

If you want a few with lowish power consumption, I'd go for 42802.

Each one works fine, just some have the upper hand on some setups.

If you could give our international department an email that would be great.

You can use the contact form on the website. If the item is stocked in the UK then generally we can sell it over seas.

Hello,

The dual link is only used for resolutions over 1920x1200. Single link would be fine for that or lower.

You are on the limit for single link, but this shouldn't normally give you any problems.

Are you switching while the printer has a queue?

I would also try shorter lengths, as that the maximum recommended.

Hi,

If you are getting device not recognised on both machines then either the cable length is too long or the device is faulty.

It is only 1 device that you have? What length are the cables?

Hi Lowraj,

That is a fault on the product, you would need to return it to us for repair / replacement.

You can do so here http://www.lindy.co.uk/shop/returnsMerchandise.do

How long does the disk take to disconnect generally?

If the drive mounts and works for some time then its not a problem with the disk size.

Have you tried another USB cable?

Hi gemsat,

Is the total distance 30 or 50m? To be honest, standard HDMI cables at that length will probably never work. We only recommend 10-15m with standard cable.

You could look at using Cat5/6 network cable if that is an option?

Hi McStonnie, Do you have a part number on the enclosure as some models where only recommended to have 750GB max. If it randomly disconnects then it could be a fault with the USB link or the power, does the drive make any noise when starting or when it drops the connection? Has this been tested dire...

We don't currently have any 3D testing equipment, so I'm afraid we can't test it for you.

1080p with deep colour and the works, yes :)

Every piece of equipment works slightly different, so its quite hard to tell sometimes.

Hi,

This sounds very odd indeed, I've never heard of this happening. The only thing would would probably effect this would be power. Each port/hub should provide 500mA of power, the KVM might be using some of this depending on the model, do you have the part number?
