Bnx-60 quiet on Bluetooth only

My boys bnx-60 are incredibly quiet on Bluetooth only after an attempt to replace the rechargeable battery.
I suspect the wires were reversed.

On the lead they work perfectly. Bluetooth still operates the play pause control, it's just the sound (less than 10% volume)
I'm loathed to bin them and would be great if repairable as they're out of warranty.
Any guidance would be fabulous so he can enjoy wireless again.

Hi,

I'm afraid we do not offer a repair service for these headphones, it sounds as though perhaps a wire is not connected properly or the volume control has been disturbed.

Sorry we cannot be of more help on this occasion.
