Hi There,

Is there any reason why I'd have a problem using this device on the HDMI ARC return port on my Panny vt50 to forward all the DTS/DD streams to a Soundbar that only has a single TOSLink input?

Hi,

I assume you are looking at Part No. 38068, if so then yes you can connect that to a TV's HDMI ARC port and extract audio to optical to feed a soundbar.
