Good Morning,

I have a property in rural Ireland without Broadband capability.
I have a wifi 'dongle' which functions adequately with a laptop computer. I need to locate the dongle some distance from the laptop.
Will your 5m AMale to AFemale active extension cable be suitable for this purpose.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Hi,

While it may work, we don't normally recommend putting wireless devices on active extension cables. It normally increased the latency too much.

i used to wonder that would work but didn't thought of increase of latency
